All vessels competing in the Powered division will be required to check in the morning of the event at the designated check in vessel anchored north of the entrance to the Bay St. Louis harbor and remain in the start area (between the harbor and Hwy 90) until the 7 a.m. shotgun start.
This is to ensure each vessel has the correct number of anglers and all vessels start in the same place at the same time.
Simply idle up, let us know your team name, and wait for the thumbs up. The check in vessel will be available on VHF ch. 68.
Kayak anglers will be allowed to check in at remote locations, including the Diamondhead Marina, and the Merlin Necaise boat launch in Pass Christian.
Kayak anglers may check in with the volunteer assigned to each remote location between 6 a.m. and 6:50 a.m. Remote locations are required to adhere to the 7 a.m. shotgun start. Kayak anglers are required to submit their 3-fish bag to the Finish Area before noon on tournament day.
We are looking to add remote check in locations anywhere on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! All we need is a trustworthy volunteer at each to make it happen! Please contact Matt@TroutDeMayo.org if you'd like to volunteer to oversee a kayak remote check in location.
